From Rumi
Guest House
This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the sham, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

“The Greatest Asset of Life”
I am the vital principle of life -- the greatest of all success and happiness assets.
I am that which gives the plus quality to human beings. I put pep, ginger, vim, into human effort.
I am the source of physical and mental power. I give the body vigor and buoyancy, the brain vital energy and originality.
I am your best friend... the friend of the high and lowly, the rich and the poor alike but, be he king or beggar, who violates my laws must pay the penalty.
I am often sought in vain by the man who rides in his limousine, but am generally found in the company of the man who walks to his work and takes plenty of exercise.
I am the great multiplier of ability, the buttress of initiative, of courage, of self-confidence, the backbone of enthusiasm, without which nothing worth while was ever accomplished.
I am the greatest constructive power in the life of man. Without me his faith weakens, his ambition sags, his ardor oozes out, his courage faints, his self-confidence departs, his accomplishment is nil.
Without me wealth is a mockery, a palatial home a bitter disappointment.
Next to life itself, I am the greatest gift ever given to man: the millionaire who has lost me in piling up his fortune would give all his millions to get me back again.
I am that which gives buoyancy to life, which makes you magnetic, joyous, forceful, which brings out your resourcefulness and inventiveness, that which raises efficiency to its maximum and enables you to make the most of your ability.
I increase every one of your 40 or 50 mental faculties a hundredfold. I am the leader of them all. When I am present they are up, at their best; when I am absent, they are down, at their worst.
I am the friend of progress, the stimulator of ambition, the encourager of effort, the great essential to efficiency, to success, the promoter of long life and happiness.
I am a joy bringer. Where I go, good cheer goes. Where I am not, depression, discouragement, the "blues," are present. My absence means declining powers, often thwarted ambition, blighted hopes, mediocrity, failure, a shortened life.
The wise man guards me as the apple of his eye; the fool often abuses and loses me through ignorance, indifference or neglect.
I AM GOOD HEALTH

When you see or hear the phrase “the way we look,” it is often a reminder to look in the mirror and to evaluate our physical appearance. We want to use the phrase in a different way. It can, also, mean the direction in which we look. In addition, we can look at things positively, and therefore look for the good, or we can focus on appearances and dwell on the worst that can be. The choice is ours.
The truth is that we look at ourselves, the world, and other people through our consciousness. That is why two people can look at the same situation and see entirely different things. Oddly, our view of the world is often impacted by our beliefs about God. For instance, if we think God punishes, then we tend to believe in a literal hell and that punishing is a deterrent to destructive behavior. On the other hand, when we believe God is love, we tend to believe that love is the answer to our problems. The two world views not only approach problems differently, they create different worlds.

A Dirty Joke: One day the scientists decided that mankind no longer needed God, so one of them went to Him, bearing the news. "God," he said, "we don't need you anymore. We can do our own miraculous things. We can clone people on our own. So why don't you just get lost?" God was patient and kind. "Very well," He replied. "If that is how mankind feels, then let us resolve this with a contest. Let us see who can make a man." "Sure," said the scientist, "that's fine with me." "But there is one condition," said God, "We will do this just the way it was done the first time when I created Adam." "Sure, no problem," said the scientist. He bent down to grab a handful of dirt. "No, no, no," said God. "You go get your own dirt."

Beginning Experiences
In The Higher Realms
1. Moving into a better job that supports the expression of who you are,
your passion, or your mission (which are basically the same).
2. Greater financial abundance as you've never quite experienced before.
3. Most of your dreams come true, and easily.
4. You attract a new mate/partner or you and your current partner have a
relationship revolving around companionship with no issue related "hooks".
You love and admire each other for who you are, with no dependencies.
5. Your health improves and/or you experience a miracle-like healing of a
long standing physical ailment.
6. You crave a simplicity in all things and require and thrive on simple
processes, simple desires, and a very simple lifestyle.
7. You begin to experience a flow to life, at a slow leisurely pace, where
you need not do anything you do not really wish to. Everything falls into
your lap. You experience much basking, savoring and gratitude for the simple
things in life.
8. You easily pick up the thoughts, feelings, desires and needs of others,
as you are becoming telepathic.
9. You can control your emotions, your experiences and create your world
with your mind and intent, without doubt or fear.
10. Your surrounding environment has little effect on you. You don't take
things personally. Nothing is really worth getting that upset about.
11. You have an unquenchable thirst for creativity. The enormous amount of
energy running through you demands an outlet. You feel most at home and in
alignment with Source when you are in your passion and creating.
12. You laugh a lot and find many things amusing and funny.
13. You have a heightened love and compassion for all living things. You are
also experiencing higher states and more frequent states of love and joy.
14. You live in the moment without a "day planner" and things just
naturally unfold day by day and moment by moment. All stress is gone.
15. You feel incredible peace. There is a distinct absence of fear and you
feel safe.
16. Your inner child seems to have disappeared (relating to issues and
wounds), although you love to play and frolic. Much of the time you just
want to play, play and play!
17. You begin to have an understanding about how everything is connected.
You understand that there are no mistakes, all is in divine right order, and
there is never and was never anything "wrong".

Brain Diseases Linked To Environmental Factors
August 15, 2004
Brain diseases have been on a steady increase over the past two decades and researchers believe they have found a link between these diseases and the environment.
Researchers indicate that higher levels of pesticides, industrial effluents, car exhausts, domestic waste and other pollutants are responsible for increases in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease.
A report published in the journal Public Health looked at the incidence of brain disease in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, the U.K. and the U.S. , from 1979 to 1997.
Researchers found dementia rates have tripled in men and increased by about 90 percent among women over two decades.
Lead researcher, Professor Colin Pritchard told The Observer that "This has really scared me - We have to look at the environment and ask ourselves what we are doing."

It is said that the only kind of experiences we ever have are personal experiences. What else could there be? However, it is also said that no experience is solely personal. The reason—we are all connected and intertwined with one another.
Every spiritual breakthrough experienced by anyone throughout the ages prepares the human family for its spiritual birth. It is true that each of us awakens individually, but it is also true that our destiny as a race of spiritual beings is spiritual birth and the life that follows.
Every time you pray and are still, I am lifted up and called to silence as well. Every time you forgive, I forgive myself just a little more and am more willing to be love. Every time you get up after you have fallen, I am more aware of the strength in me.
Remember, all experiences are personal, and all personal experience either call us higher or ask us accept limitation.

Worthless worry
+++++++++++++++++++
How many things do you worry about, that don't really matter
at all? Imagine the positive energy boost if you could
simply let them go.
Most of the things that annoy you do so only because you
have chosen to be annoyed. Think of how life would be if you
spent less time annoyed and more time truly living.
When something comes along that troubles you, ask yourself
if it really matters. You'll discover that many things
really don't.
When something pops up to worry you, ask yourself if your
worrying will make it better. Chances are, with most things,
it won't.
Most worries and annoyances are completely worthless, and
only serve to bring you down. Is that really what you want?
Practice diverting more of your time and energy to positive,
useful, productive pursuits. Replace the worry and annoyance
about things that don't matter with real, effective action
for the things that do. * Ralph Marston
